Prowler Pickles started as a passion project and the goal is to spark passion in all of you. We use fresh, organic produce from local markets currently and will soon be using our own farm-raised ingredients to make our pickles.
Our goal is to bring some unique flavors to your table, expand people’s palates, and prove that pickles are not all equal- ours’ are true Mavericks! Join us on our journey as we pickle with precision and prowess!
My Story
Hi, Miranda Maverick here. I know, I know- RANDOM that a UFC fighter is pickling. Also, I already work 2 jobs and have plenty of side hustles, but this is a business I want to expand to include members of my family, get into retail chains sometime soon, etc. I’ve known how to, and been canning multiple items since I was a kiddo. I grew up on farms/ranches around the US (my dad was a rural property developer) and we almost always had our own garden, milk, eggs, chicken, and beef to live on. As a result, we made everything from salsa to pickles to vacuum-sealed freezer-food.
Thus, I know how to do pickles but now the question is: but WHY PICKLES!? Well, I love sweet pickles and I pickle some every year. I made a story on Instagram about doing it for my family and had a few people reach out to me and ask if I would sell some. Amusingly, but also amazingly, my dad has made mention of how starting up a pickle company with pickles, relish, salsa, etc. might be a great idea. Well, to me, people messaging me about it came at the right time and I took it as a sign. So, starting in winter of 2023, here I am, filling any extra time I have with making pickles and perfecting recipes!
I hope you guys will enjoy all of them and give me some great feedback! I am focused on keeping everything sanitized, organized, and efficient when getting your orders out to you, but please be patient with me as I start stocking up to have some ready ahead of time.
